SEA-SON - a pendant

I developed this collection of jewellery during a 2-days workshp in the post graduation master "DDG - Design Del Gioiello - at the Politecnico di Milano in 2010.

Under Panthea Tassi's guide the class had to design a pendant with hand drawing, based on the theme "concave and convex", with the aim of modelling a wax by hand.

My idea was to create a sort of shell (SON of the SEA) with two different sides, one in brushed silver and the other one enameled, interchangeable according to the mood and the SEASON.

I made the wax prototype in 2 different ways: a first with a very thin layer deformed with the heat, a second starting from a block and sculpting it.
