RISING SUN - handmade jewelry collection

I developed this collection during my collaboration, in 2010, with the goldsmith workshop "Braga Romano MI718", specialized since the 60ies in working with wire and plates.

I was interested in finding an idea to create a contemporary jewel with a strong image and a precious feeling but not too expensive.

I combined a thick plate of sterling silver with a thin plate of rose gold with the same pattern but bigger. Like that, all the gold is very evident, while the silver is the real structure but works also giving contrast and interest to the pieces.
